Connectivity Solutions
Three Rivers Pathology offers two connectivity options:
LabWorks and Web Outreach, to link
the physician’s offi ce to Three Rivers Pathology. Web Outreach is a
web-based program that
allows clinicians to view their patient result information through the
Internet. Three Rivers
Pathology’s LabWorks system can interface directly to your Practice
Management System
(PMS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), or Laboratory Information System
(LIS).
LabWorks is a web-based tool that allows clients to view their patient result information quickly, effi ciently, and securely through the Internet. Clients will continue to receive any urgent result reports in the same manner as presently.

Equipment and Software Requirements
- Internet-ready computer
- Netscape Communicator version 4.7 or higher, Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher
- Internet browser must use 128-bit data encryption to ensure the security of the data
e.reports
e.reports gives clinicians faster, more convenient access to patient laboratory
results,
and enables the laboratory to streamline report distribution to improve
effi ciency and
turnaround time. Authorized users may access completed reports from a secure
web site
using any PC. Clinicians can then print or e-mail reports directly from
e.reports for easy
information sharing and record-keeping.
The Pathology Results Retrieval
window allows clinicians to view pending work and confi rm specimen receipt.
In addition to real-time report look-up of all final reports, clinician
offi ces can use this portal to keep track of pending and fi nal results
on all orders placed by viewing the entire patient order queue. Clinicians
can also easily search for a particular patient’s
result or entire result history.
e.orders
Similar to e.reports, e.orders enable clinician offi ces to quickly and
easily place test orders online through a secure web
page. Each clinician can customize his/her own online requisition form
for the most commonly ordered tests.
